Writer For Ages: 15+ Know someone who absolutely loved that new 'Superman' film by James Gunn? Well the next film to come from DC Studios is an adaptation of this exact comic book! Here's an image of the actress of 'Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow' reading the Deluxe Edition Hardcover! Not only is it an excellent superhero story, it's a wild sci-fi / fantasy tale that is completely self contained, meaning no prior reading and a proper ending not just a "To be continued..." at the last page! We highly recommend it anyway, but with the film arriving in 2026 it's the perfect time to jump in to this great read! |

Writer / Artist For Ages: 10+ This one is a personal favourite of mine and Dan (co-owner) loved it too! A beautiful and touching piece exploring the grieving process through Hedge Witches and magic. It blossoms into a truly excellent self-contained story about a young hedge witch who returns to her hometown after her grandmotherās death, only to find an unlikely new friend and a series of mysterious magical disturbances that need to be solved. They say don't judge a book by it's cover, but you absolutely can with this gorgeous read! |

Treasure In The Lake & Ember And The Island Of Lost Creatures Writer / Artist For Ages: 5+ We held launch events for both of these truly excellent younger reader graphic novels. Now that may make us a bit biased, but the quality of these books speak for themselves with their stunning illustrations and excellent stories! Perfect to read to the little kids and one sure to be re-read over and over again! |

Writer / Artist For Ages: 15+ The go-to example of comics journalism has been reprinted multiple times since it's original publishing in the 1990's. Yet it rings true to this day, with the ongoing genocide on the Palestinian people at the hands of war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu continuing through multiple ceasefire claims in recent years. There is more of Joe Sacco's work that we recommend as well, like 'Safe Area Goražde' from 2000, 'Footnotes in Gaza' from 2010 and 'War on Gaza' from 2024, the latter of which is an uncompromising critique of Israelās genocide and the complicity of President Joe Biden and the United States. |

Not only has he penned (or should we say typed nowadays?) a bunch of Superhero tales, a YA-fantasy series, magical queer adventures in theatre and more, he is PROLIFIC in the genre of Horror. Our personal favourites here at Greenlight Comics are 'Something Is Killing The Children', 'The Nice House By The Lake', 'The Department of Truth' & 'w0rldtr33'. |
